Tips & Suggestions

Please read fully before using. These tips can help you maximize the benefits from our blends.

General:
  • Don't soak dried cannabis. Wet cannabis does not allow the cannabinoids (e.g., THC, CBD) to fully vaporize. Using too much of the terpene blend will only make the cannabis too wet and not improve the experience.
  • Different cannabis strains can influence, and result in, different experiences. Experiment with different strains and find the ones that work best in combination with these terpene blends for your unique physiology. For example, depending on the person and strain used, Enhanced Effect™ can result in anything from a subtle increase in euphoria to "couch lock," from enhanced pain relief to better sleep--and anything in between. For Enhanced Effect™ some users report best effects are noticed after several days of daily use.
  • Gel packs: Exposure to air oxidizes terpenes. Discard any leftover oil in a gel pack that is not going to be used immediately. (Remember, these are compostable gel packs, so please compost where possible. Products sold in dropper vials do not contain unstable terpenes.)

Traditional aromatherapy:
  • Direct Inhalation (gel packs): likely the easiest, and most convenient way to use, squeeze contents of 2 gel packs into a tissue, hold close to nose, and take slow deep breaths to inhale the vapours prior to (and during) the use of cannabis. [Cannanda's comments: user feedback suggests this is the most effective method of use--and the best way to enjoy the terpene scents.]
  • Direct Inhalation (vials): With our vials, place 2-3 drops in the palm of your hand, rub hands together, cup around nose, and take slow deep breaths.
  • Diffuser: Gel packs: another easy way to use, squeeze 5 or more full gel packs (adjust up/down depending on room size) onto diffuser (not suitable for electronic diffusers). Vials: suitable for all diffusers where essential oils can be used (including ultrasonic and nebulizer diffusers).

Dabbing concentrates:
[Cannanda's comments: do not use with high temperature dabs--low heat setting is recommended.]
  • Gel packs: Unless set at a low temperature, dabbing is not recommended since heating the seed oil will create an unpleasant taste/aroma. However, feedback with low-temp dabs has been positive.
  • Vials: add one or more drops as needed to concentrate prior to dabbing, low heat recommended.

Smoking:
[Cannanda's comments: combustion is not recommended. However, if doing so following these directions can help minimize the amount of terpenes destroyed by heat and increase the amount inhaled, while preventing the combustion of the seed oil in gel packs.]
  • Bongs/pipes: for best results, place a little bit of dried cannabis to the bottom of the bowl, add a few drops of the terpene blend, then add the rest of the dried cannabis on top (this helps reduce the amount of wet cannabis)
  • Joints/blunts: for best results, add a few drops of the terpene blend to the end closest to the filter (again, this helps reduce the amount of wet cannabis)

Caution:
Small pieces are a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Use at your own risk. Do not combust or ingest.
